Labrador

A very quick post today. The Patchwork Dog has improved it seems. The vet nurse phoned me last night to tell me that her (the dog's!) bloods were improved. She didn't say how much. So the vet is speaking to the specialist (the expensive specialist) to agree a treatment plan. So definately going in the right direction. I thought she seemed better and more lively. And the fur on her belly is starting to grow back too, in wispy little bits - aah!

    Glad to hear your dog is getting better (what ever the cost - it's immaterial compared with their well being). Kind of fits neatly with your previous posting about time healing. Hope she doesn't get too itchy with the fur growing back again - sometimes mine end up scratching the regrowing fur and that causes another problem.

    Thanks for the thoughts. Yes, she is a bouncing bundle of fluff again now, like we have turned back the clock a couple of years. She will stay on 3 medications for the next 3 months and then another visit to the expensive vet! We have totted up the cost and despite an extortionate treatment so far, the insurance company are still in pocket from what we have paid over the past 6 years!
